Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra: Small design upgrades to expect

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series

Samsung is gearing up to tweak the look of its upcoming Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra phones. These top-tier devices are likely to hit the market early next year, and whispers about their changes are already buzzing.

A fresh leak gives us a peek at what’s coming for the Galaxy S26 lineup. A concept picture, based on early display samples, shows the S26 and S26 Ultra with super slim edges—thinner than what we saw on the S25 and S25 Ultra.

Earlier this year, in January, Samsung rolled out the Galaxy S25 series. The S25 Ultra stood out with its tiny 1.52mm edges, giving users more screen space. It seems Samsung isn’t done yet and wants to push for even bigger displays on the next models.

The leaked pictures hint that the S26 and S26 Ultra will have slimmer edges than the S25 crew. According to the source, next year’s phones might keep the same body frame as the S25 series. It’s still early to lock in the full style of the S26 series. Just lately, we got a glimpse of the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 designs, set to launch in July.

The S26 family, though, is expected to drop in early 2026. Samsung is shrinking those edges, but we won’t know the exact sizes until the big reveal. Right now, the Galaxy S26 series is in the testing phase, and more rumors might pop up soon about what’s in store.
