Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 set to win with biggest outer screen

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7

A well-known phone leaker, OnLeaks, recently shared the look of Samsung’s upcoming foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, and it’s got people excited. The leak shows that the phone’s outer screen will stretch across the whole top half, where the back cameras sit, making it look a lot like the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra. At first, no one knew the exact size of this screen. But now, thanks to Ross Young, we’ve got the details.

Ross Young, a big name in display research and the head of Counterpoint Research, chimed in on a post by Ice Universe. He said the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s outer screen will be 4.05 inches big. That’s a 19% jump from the 3.4-inch screen on the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Even better, it’ll top the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, making it the foldable phone with the largest outer display.

Galaxy Z Flip 7’s Look and Screen Size

Earlier this week, OnLeaks teamed up with Android Headlines to drop some design hints about the Galaxy Z Flip 7. At first, it seemed like the phone would stick to the same style as the Galaxy Z Flip 6, which let down fans hoping for a bigger outer screen or a fresh design. But just a day later, they updated the news with a new design showing the full-cover outer screen.

Past leaks also suggest the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip and pack a 4,300mAh battery. With a bigger outer screen, a stronger processor, and a larger battery than the last model, Samsung’s next foldable phone is shaping up to be a real upgrade. These improvements could make it stand out as the most loaded option compared to other foldables on the market.
