More folks are choosing Samsung’s fancy TVs with simple payment plans

A few months back, Samsung kicked off something cool called the ‘AI Subscription Club’ in South Korea. Don’t get it twisted—it’s not what you might guess. It’s a deal where you pay a small monthly fee to enjoy Samsung’s gadgets, like their top-notch TVs. Samsung recently shared that this payment plan is catching on fast in South Korea, especially for their pricey TVs.
Half of Buyers in Korea Pick the AI Subscription Club for Samsung’s Best TVs
When the AI Subscription Club started in December 2024, about 20% of people buying Samsung’s fancy TVs signed up for it. By February 2025, that number shot up—now 50% of buyers are jumping on this plan for models like the Samsung Neo QLED OLED TV.
Plus, this new club idea boosted sales of these high-end TVs by 10% in February 2025 compared to December 2024. That’s a nice win for Samsung! The AI Subscription Club lets you grab Samsung’s AI-powered TVs—loaded with neat tricks like AI Mode, Smart Home controls, quick searches with a click, live language translation, and home monitoring—for just KRW 10,000 (~$7) a month. Pretty affordable, right?
On top of that, Samsung’s throwing in free repairs for the first five years. That’s a big reason folks are loving this plan. Lim Sung-taek, the big boss at Samsung Electronics Korea, said, “More and more people shopping for premium TVs are curious about the ‘AI Subscription Club.’ It’s the smartest way to enjoy top-tier TVs for years.” This simple payment idea is making it easier for people to bring home Samsung’s coolest tech without breaking the bank.
