Galaxy S23 gets March 2025 update in the US before One UI 7 beta arrives
Samsung has begun sending out the March 2025 security update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in the US. Right now, this update is available for phones locked to carriers, but Samsung plans to bring it to more devices soon.
Galaxy S23 owners in the US are excited about the One UI 7 Beta, but first, they’re getting this update based on One UI 6.1. It includes the latest Android security patch, which boosts the phone’s safety and keeps it running smoothly.
Here are the update codes for each model:
- Galaxy S23: S911USQS6CYB3
- Galaxy S23 Plus: S916USQS6CYB3
- Galaxy S23 Ultra: S918USQS6CYB3
This March 2025 security patch from Samsung fixes more than 58 weak spots found in older software, making your device safer. Google’s part of the update tackles 11 major risks and 40 serious problems. One issue was already fixed earlier, and three don’t apply to Samsung phones. On top of that, Samsung added its own fixes for 7 specific issues tied to things like Auracast, communication options, the Galaxy Watch Gallery, Wi-Fi, and other features.
Want to get the update? Go to your phone’s Settings, tap Software update, then hit Download and install. If it’s ready for you, install it now to enjoy the improvements. Samsung also shared that the Galaxy S23 series, along with some other Galaxy models, will get the One UI 7 Beta in March 2025. This current update prepares your phone for that big step forward.
