Galaxy S24 Ultra user says stable One UI 7 showed up early in the US, shares proof

S24 Ultra

A Galaxy S24 Ultra owner in the US claims they got the Stable One UI 7 update ahead of schedule through AT&T. Samsung had said the official release would happen in April, but it looks like someone jumped the gun.

One lucky user posted about this surprise update on Reddit. The original post is gone now, but a quick thinker, TheJoshGuy, saved screenshots before it disappeared. Four pictures were shared, including one showing the updated details. It reveals One UI 7.0 running on Android 15, with a hefty file size of over 5.2GB. The update even includes a March 2025 security patch.

What’s more, the software’s build number proves it’s not a test version like Beta 5. The code ends with BYBI, a sign of a Stable release—Beta versions usually have a “Z” in there. The user successfully installed this update on their phone. It brings some cool features already spotted in the Fold 6 and Flip 6 Beta tests, like a Media Player option for Live Notifications.

It’s possible AT&T sent this out by accident, or maybe the phone isn’t a regular store-bought model—perhaps a test device or demo unit. Things might get even crazier in the coming weeks. As we get closer to the official April launch, stories like this could pop up all over the internet.

Samsung has made it clear that the full rollout won’t start until April, so this early drop is unexpected. For now, most users will have to sit tight and wait for the real deal.
