New One UI 7 Home Up update fixes home screen customization problems

Samsung recently rolled out a fresh update for the One UI 7 Home Up app, bringing better DIY Home features. You can now download this latest version from the Galaxy Store. The company had promised to fix bugs and make things work smoother, and this update delivers on that.
Before, users were annoyed because widgets wouldn’t update properly after switching wallpapers. This glitch meant widgets showed old info or didn’t match the new setup, messing up the smooth personalization people love.
With this update, that problem is gone. Widgets now stay in sync with any home screen changes. Galaxy fans who like to play around with wallpapers and layouts can finally enjoy a hassle-free experience without the DIY Home bug bothering them.
The update also makes moving nested items—like folders, widgets, or icons inside other groups—way more reliable. People testing the app and regular users had complained about things not responding when they tried to rearrange stuff in DIY Home’s edit mode. Samsung listened and fixed it.
Looking at past feedback, it seems Samsung tackled other headaches too, like weird graphical issues (think see-through widgets that wouldn’t go away), apps crashing while editing the home screen, and odd behavior with Task Changer or big folder widgets. This latest Home Up version boosts how well DIY Home works, sorting out widget troubles and item handling while quietly fixing smaller issues behind the scenes.
