Galaxy S24 receives 5th One UI 7 update with better video features
Samsung has launched the fifth One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series. This update fixes several bugs and adds improved support for log video recording. Right now, it’s available in India and the US, with more countries likely to get it soon.
Enhanced Video Recording for Galaxy S24 and S24+
The newest beta update for One UI 7.0 is out in India and the US. It tackles various software glitches and brings log video recording to the Galaxy S24 and S24+. Before this, only the Galaxy S24 Ultra had this feature, which came with the fourth beta update.
The update is about 1GB in size (941.32MB for the Galaxy S24 Ultra in the US). It carries firmware versions S92xBXXU4ZYC6 in India and S92xU1UEU4ZYC6 in the US. Plus, it includes the March 2025 security patch, which patches up many security issues.
What’s Fixed in This Update?
This update solves problems like the Now Bar not showing correctly and lock screen notification glitches. It also fixes tiny icons on the widget settings page, blurry effects when adjusting widget transparency, and overlapping text or images. The spacing in quick action menus is improved too.
According to the official notes, the Gallery app’s Edit button wasn’t always working, but that’s fixed now. The update also improves how notification history and media playback notifications appear in real time.
