Samsung’s latest updates bring exciting changes to Galaxy devices

Samsung is rolling out fresh updates for its popular Galaxy smartphones, making them even better for users. The One UI 7 Beta 2 is now available for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 owners in Korea and India. Meanwhile, T-Mobile users in the US with Galaxy S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra can enjoy One UI 7 Beta 5. Plus, the Galaxy S24 FE is getting the March 2025 security patch.
The One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 fixes several annoying problems. It stops the battery widget from overlapping, smooths out screen glitches when pressing the Home key, and corrects the screen refresh rate info during gaming. The calendar widget now adjusts its size properly, and the camera’s quick control button stays in place. Other tweaks include fixing media icons in the status bar and battery info on the cover screen. To get this update, go to Settings, tap Software Update, and hit Download and Install.
Over at T-Mobile, the One UI 7 Beta 5 update is live for the Galaxy S24 series. It comes with the build version ZYC6 and takes up about 1040 MB of space. This update squashes many bugs and improves the overall experience as the stable version nears in April 2025. It also adds the Log Video feature to non-Ultra S24 models, letting users capture awesome videos with their phone’s camera. If you spot any issues, report them via the Samsung Members app.
For Galaxy S24 FE users, the March 2025 security update is here, starting in Europe with build version S721BXXS3AYB3. Based on One UI 6.1 and Android 14, it boosts security by fixing over 58 weak spots in the software. While it’s not ready for One UI 7 Beta yet, a stable update will follow the S24 series in April.
To check for this update, head to Settings, Software Update, and tap Download and Install. These updates show Samsung’s focus on keeping devices smooth, secure, and fun to use. Whether you’re folding, flipping, or snapping videos, there’s something new to enjoy!
