Samsung’s latest Ad teases Ballie’s soon arrival and Health app gets a DNA upgrade

Samsung SmartThings

Samsung recently shared a new ad for its SmartThings platform, giving fans a sneak peek at Ballie, its cute, ball-shaped robot. The ad focuses on how SmartThings uses AI to make smart homes easier to manage, showing off cool features and products.

Near the end, Ballie rolls in, projecting a “Welcome” sign, hinting that its launch is just around the corner. Samsung promised at CES that Ballie would hit the U.S. market in early 2025, and this ad suggests they’re sticking to that plan. Fans are excited for this little robot to finally arrive!

On the same day, March 31, 2025, Samsung Health got a big update thanks to a partnership with Macrogen. They’ve added GenTok, a gene-based health tool, to the app. Now, users can mix their daily health info—like sleep, exercise, and body stats—with DNA test results for a custom health guide.

Macrogen’s CEO, Kim Chang-hoon, said this is a fresh way to offer personal health care. You can order a DNA test through the Samsung Health app and get your results there too. It’s a simple, smart step to help people stay healthier with tech! Both updates show Samsung’s push to blend AI and personal care into everyday life, making homes and health easier to handle.
