Samsung pauses One UI 7 update for Galaxy phones
Samsung has stopped the rollout of its latest software, One UI 7.0, for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The update was also pulled for the Galaxy S24 series in the US, Europe, and South Korea. This decision came after users found a major issue in the software.
The One UI 7.0 update was meant to bring exciting changes, like a smoother interface, better app designs, and new customization options. It started rolling out on April 7 in South Korea and reached Europe and the US soon after. However, some Galaxy S24 users in Korea reported a problem that affected their experience, leading Samsung to act quickly.
To prevent more users from facing the issue, Samsung removed the update from its servers. This pause affects the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and S24 series in key markets. The company hasn’t shared details about the problem or when the update will return, but they’re likely working on a fix.
Samsung’s move shows they care about delivering reliable software. For now, users should avoid unofficial downloads and wait for official news. If you own one of these phones, you can check for updates through Settings, but don’t expect the new software just yet. Galaxy fans are disappointed, but Samsung’s focus on quality might make the wait worthwhile.
