Samsung has introduced two rugged devices built for tough conditions: the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro and the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro. These gadgets are perfect for people working in demanding environments like construction sites or factories.

The Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro is a sturdy tablet with a 10.1-inch screen. It runs on a fast Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and has 6GB of RAM for smooth performance. Its 7,600mAh battery can be swapped out without shutting down, and it even works without a battery when plugged into a dock.

The tablet is water- and dust-resistant (IP68) and comes with a durable S Pen. The Galaxy XCover 7 Pro is a rugged smartphone with the same powerful processor and 6GB of RAM. It features a 4,350mAh replaceable battery, a 50MP main camera, and an 8MP ultrawide lens.

Like the tablet, it’s IP68-rated and meets military standards for toughness. Both devices run Android 15 with One UI 7. The phone launches on May 8, 2025, and the tablet arrives in early June. They’re designed to handle rough jobs while staying reliable.
