Samsung Calendar app gets new features in latest update
Samsung has rolled out a new update for its Calendar app, version 12.6.01.17, bringing four useful features to make scheduling easier.
First, there’s a new countdown feature. It lets you see how many days are left until an event. This countdown shows up on the event details page. Second, users can now hide completed tasks, which helps keep the app neat and focused on what still needs to be done.
The third change is a visual upgrade. Samsung has updated the icons used for event categories, giving them a fresh, modern look. Lastly, the app now offers better control when syncing with Microsoft Outlook. Users can choose whether to sync only their main Outlook calendar or include shared calendars too.
This update is available for Galaxy devices through the Galaxy Store. If you haven’t received it yet, you can check for it manually.
