Early One UI 8 beta leak shows smoother version of One UI 7
Samsung is quietly working on One UI 8, and a leaked beta build has given us a first look at what’s coming. This early version seems to be based on Android 15 and shows a refined version of One UI 7, rather than a completely new design.
A well-known tipster recently shared screenshots from a One UI 8 beta build. From what we see, Samsung is focusing more on small visual improvements than big changes. For example, the Quick Panel (the shortcut menu you pull from the top) looks cleaner and more polished. It still follows the One UI 7 layout, but with better spacing and simpler icons.
So far, there aren’t any major new features in the leaked beta, but that’s expected since it’s an early build. As Samsung continues to work on it, more tools and functions could be added. The goal seems to be to improve the current user experience rather than rebuild the whole interface.
Samsung is expected to start the One UI 8 beta program for Galaxy devices in the second half of this year. The stable version might arrive by the end of 2025, starting with flagship models like the Galaxy S24 series.
This leak gives us a small but exciting preview of how Samsung plans to improve its software with Android 15.
