Samsung fans who were waiting for the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta update on April 22 will now have to wait longer. A well-known source on X (formerly Twitter), @UniverseIce, said that the Galaxy S23 series will no longer receive the beta update on that date.

Just a few days ago, it was rumored that Samsung would release the Android 15 beta for the Galaxy S23 series in the fourth week of April, starting with South Korea. However, the plan has reportedly changed, and the release has been delayed.

Although the reason behind the delay hasn’t been shared, Samsung might still be doing some internal testing or preparing the software to ensure it’s stable before letting users try it. At the moment, there is no new date confirmed for the beta launch.

The Android 15 beta is currently available for Google Pixel phones, while Samsung users will have to wait a bit more. Once it’s ready, the Galaxy S23 lineup is expected to be the first to get the One UI 7 beta update. As always, it’s better to wait for an official announcement from Samsung about the new release timeline.
