Samsung One UI 7’s audio eraser lets you remove background noise from videos

Samsung is getting ready to launch a new feature called Audio Eraser with its upcoming One UI 7 update. This tool works just like the Object Eraser in the Gallery app, but instead of removing objects from photos, it removes unwanted background noise from videos.

The Audio Eraser feature was recently spotted in a test version of One UI 7. It’s expected to come with Galaxy AI, Samsung’s new set of smart features. With this tool, users will be able to edit audio in videos easily by getting rid of things like traffic sounds, people talking in the background, or wind noise—keeping only the sounds that matter.

This will be especially helpful for content creators, vloggers, or anyone who records video on their phone and wants clean, clear sound. Just like how Object Eraser lets you clean up your photos, Audio Eraser will help polish your videos.

Samsung is likely to introduce this feature with the Android 15-based One UI 7 update. The new version is expected to arrive later this year, starting with the Galaxy S24 series. Galaxy users can look forward to a smarter and more polished video experience thanks to Galaxy AI and Audio Eraser.
