Samsung is already testing early versions of One UI 8 on the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra. A recent hands-on report from a well-known source gives us a first look at what Samsung might be planning for its next flagship.

According to the report, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will launch with One UI 8, which is based on Android 15. While the software still looks similar to the current One UI 6.1, there are some minor but useful changes.

One of the main things spotted in the early build is a redesigned volume control panel. It now has a cleaner look and better layout, making it easier to control sound settings. The brightness bar also seems slightly updated, though not much else is different in the interface.

The report also mentions that Galaxy AI features may be improved with One UI 8, but no specific details were given. Samsung may still be working on new tools or improvements that will be added later in development.

Since this is just an early version of the software, many changes could still happen before the final release. The Galaxy S25 series is expected to arrive in early 2025, possibly in January, just like the S24 series.

More details about One UI 8 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra will likely appear in the coming months. For now, it looks like Samsung is aiming for small but smart upgrades.
