Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Samsung has started rolling out the April 2025 security update to more Galaxy S25 series phones. After the Galaxy S25 initially got the update, the company has now released it for the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra as well.

This new update is now available in several countries, including India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. For the Galaxy S25+, the update comes with firmware version S936BXXS2AXD3, and for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, it’s S938BXXS2AXD3. Right now, this update is only live for the international models of these phones. More regions are expected to receive it soon.

The April 2025 update mainly brings better security. It fixes 27 security issues found in Galaxy devices, including 21 issues related to Android itself and 6 related to Samsung’s own software.

If you have a Galaxy S25+ or S25 Ultra and live in one of the supported countries, you can check for the update by going to Settings> Software update » Download and install.

Samsung has been doing well with regular updates for its latest phones. The company promised long-term support, and the timely April 2025 patch rollout shows they’re keeping that promise.
