Galaxy S25 Edge vs S25 Ultra: What’s the difference?

Posted on

Samsung fans are talking about a recent post on X by @samsungoneui7 that compares the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The side-by-side images show the differences in design, features, and target users for both phones.

The Galaxy S25 Edge looks slimmer with a simple dual-camera setup on the back. It’s designed to be stylish and modern, likely for users who want a premium look without all the extras. On the other hand, the S25 Ultra is thicker and comes with a powerful quad-camera system and a built-in S Pen, showing that it’s made for users who need high performance and more tools.

One key feature of the S25 Ultra is the S Pen, which lets users write, draw, and access features like Translate and Magnify. However, unlike past models, this S Pen doesn’t have Bluetooth, so it doesn’t support remote gestures like Air Actions. Still, users can use the Air Command menu and get alerts if the S Pen is left behind. The S25 Edge doesn’t have an S Pen at all, which fits its simpler and more affordable focus.

Rumors suggest the S25 Edge might launch around May 13, 2025, at around $1,000. It’s expected to have 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, with slightly less power than the Ultra. Both phones will likely run One UI 7 based on Android 15 and include Galaxy AI features. This shows Samsung’s plan to give users options—whether they want something sleek and affordable or powerful and feature-packed.
